Great news! Our VINI project has been included as part of the Texas Tech University Talkington College of Visual and Performing Art NEA grant submission. The NEA granted the funding and we are beginning to develop a further iteration of the VINI based upon feedback and test results that we received this year.
Dr. Melinda Corwin, Dr. John Velez and I, Professor Stacy Elko attended the ASHA (American Speech, Hearing, Language Association) Conference in Boston Nov. 15-17 where we gave a technical presentation. I was pretty overwhelmed as there were over 15,000 attendees at the conference. Below is a shot of the vendor fair when I first arrived at the Boston Convention center.

On behalf of the 2018 Convention Program Committee we are pleased to inform you that the submission listed below has been accepted for presentation as an oral session (technical clinical/technical research) at the ASHA Annual Convention, November 15-17, 2018 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) in Boston, Massachusetts.

Don’t forget about the Speaker/Presenter Management Center! This center will give you access to all your submitted proposals, email notifications, and disclosure form links throughout the Call for Papers process. All proposals and email notifications will be in viewable format only.
The selection process was extremely competitive this year. All submissions were reviewed by the Program Committee and accepted and scheduled with consideration to educational content, presentation format, scheduling requests, possible conflicts, and the overall flow of the meeting. All sessions are final as scheduled and we are unable to honor requests for changes to time and/or date.
Please carefully review the session information below. This is your last opportunity to correct any minor errors and/or typographical errors (e.g., author order or who is actually presenting versus author only) before your session information is made public. Please note, we are unable to add any new authors, make title or substance edits, adjust your session format, or change your scheduled day/time.
